The train journey from Montenegro to Serbia’s capital, Belgrade, is reputed to be one of the most scenic in the world. Whilst the average flight time is a little under an hour, taking the train will take at least ten times this. But it’s absolutely worth it.
Podgorica, Montenegro’s capital city, is definitely not one of the great cities of Europe. Whilst Montenegro is rapidly growing in popularity owing to spectacular scenery, beautiful beaches, and a low living cost, Podgorica itself is not really somewhere that attracts the tourists.
